- Back to Basics Release Date: August 15, 2006 – Christina Aguilera has transformed her image and musical style with every album. With the new Back to Basics album, her musical style has changed from the urban and light rock sounds of Stripped to a soulful and jazz-inspired album. Aguilera has described her upcoming album as a soul record combining elements of 1920s, '30s and '40s blues and jazz with modern day influences. The album's title was confirmed in the March issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and Aguilera was featured in a cover story of ELLE UK magazine confirming her work with producers Mark Ronson and P. Diddy. The record finds her working with hip-hop producers DJ Premier, Kwame and Ronson for the first time. It will also find her working with Linda Perry, who worked with Aguilera on Stripped (2002). In February 2006 at MTV's TRL Awards, she previewed three unmastered tracks from the upcoming album including "Candy Man" and "Back to Basics".

- Stripped Release Date: October 29, 2002 – Stripped is the second studio album by American pop singer Christina Aguilera, released in 2002. It reached the top five of the album charts in both the U.S. and UK and features two UK number-one hits in "Dirrty" and "Beautiful". The raunchy themes of the album attracted the most publicity — not all positive — though Aguilera insisted that the title and subject matter reflected her emotions more than her body. The songs with that as a theme include "Beautiful", "Fighter", "The Voice Within", "Soar", "Loving Me 4 Me" and "I'm OK".

- Christina Aguilera Release Date: August 24, 1999 – Since Christina Aguilera is the third and last of the New Mickey Mouse Club alumni to hit the charts in the mid-'90s -- following two members of 'N Sync and Britney Spears -- it's easy for cynical observers to assume that she was the lesser of the three talents since she arrived last after everyone scaled the charts. That's not the case at all. If anything, Aguilera is the best of the three, blessed with a rich voice that's given the material it deserves. Her eponymous debut remains firmly within the teen-oriented dance-pop genre, but unlike Spears' album, this is done right. The songwriting is strong -- the ballads are engaging, the dance numbers are catchy -- the production is clean and uncluttered, letting Aguilera's voice take the foreground. Most impressively, she not only has charisma, she can actually sing, bringing conviction to these love and heartbreak songs. So, Christina Aguilera may be lightweight, but it's lightweight in the best possible sense -- breezy, fun, engaging, and enjoyable on each repeated listen. Out of the deluge of teen-pop albums in 1999, this feels like the best of the lot.
